V4 Composers for sustainability\u2019 project in the framework of the Creative Europe programme for 2023-2025.<\/strong> <strong>Deadline for submissions is 15 June 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The call is open to composers up to 35 years of age (born after 1 March 1988) representing the Visegrad Group countries (citizens of Poland, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary, living in the country and abroad). The new works for chamber music ensemble of 7 up to 10 instruments to be chosen from &#8216;Fl Ob Cl Bn \/ Cor Tpt Tbn \/ Perc\/ Vn Vla Vc Cb \/ Elec&#8217; will be commissioned from selected composers. Expected length of approximately 15-20 minutes, scores and parts of composition due to 31 March 2024. The composers will be invited to take part in a series of workshops with music and ecology experts, they will visit concert sites in all partner countries and meet with local ensembles\u2019 representatives. The new works will be premiered in summer 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Commission fee: 4000,00 EUR<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Documents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>biography note (including name and surname, date of birth, education, artistic achievements and awards, list of compositions),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 previous scores (PDF files) and their recordings (mp3 files),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>detailed concept of the commissioned work and its open-air performance (including form, instrumentation, setting of musicians, composition techniques, references to ecology and renewable resources, e.g. the use of instruments from recycled materials),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>your definition of \u2018renewable music\u2019,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All the listed documents (in English) must be sent through the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/renmus.eu\/index.php\/call-for-applications\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Application Form<\/a>&nbsp;by 15 June 2023, 11:59 p.m. CET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You can find more detailed information in the <a href=\"https:\/\/renmus.eu\/index.php\/for-composers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"For Composers\">&#8216;For Composers&#8217;<\/a> tab.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We invite composers from the Visegrad Group countries to collaborate on the \u2018Renewable Music.
